Green & Gold Shimmer Smokey Eyes Ft. Revlon Color Charge Palette
Hello, hello, to all my Jeaniez! How is everyone doing? Getting ready for Spring yet? I know I am! To welcome the new season on the rise, I broke out my new Revlon Color Charge limited edition palette (ColorStay™ Shadow Palette) and had some live boldly fun. This palette has not been released YET, but I thought it might be interesting showing you love’s the pigment beforehand, this way you can get a little “sneak peek”, Lillee style :)! By the way, this blog post is not a bought review, nor paid endorsement – Revlon invited me to the Live Boldly event in January and sent me complimentary gifts for my usage. All opinions are mine and fair game (see the collection review here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOGVOFYP6uk)!
On my skin is Cover Fx (I’ve been calling this Cover FIX for years, AHH) Total Cover Cream Foundation, in N10, along with a light dusting of their “The Perfect Light Highlighting Powder” in Moonlight, which is a very soft peachy glow. Since greens tend to be overpowering, for my lippies I used Revlon’s Kiss Plumping Lip Creme in Nude Honey, which is a soft warm nude that’s sheer enough to not compete with my eyeshadow, but bold enough to be noticed! Speaking of greens SINCE the eyeshadow palette has not been released just yet, I will let you loves know I used a lime green shade across my lids, a gold towards my inner corners, a teal on the outer thirds of my lids, and a dark chocolate brown throughout my crease, and on my lower lash lines! I finished up the eye makeup with L’Oreal Paris’ Voluminous Carbon Black Volume Building Mascara, and a smudging of Nyx Cosmetics Jumbo Eye Pencil in Black Bean across my waterlines, as well as across my upper lash lines smudges into my crease for a more dramatic effect. OH! By the way on my eyebrows is Revlon’s Colorstay Brow Kit in the shade ‘Blonde’. I feel it’s a much better match than Anastasia’s Blonde as it has LESS ashy tones and more warmth :)!
Just so you beauties know, the new Spring collection which is “Color Charge” NOT CHANGE which is what I have been saying, oops, hehe, will be out quite soon! I will try and keep my postings diverse, however, this way you loves can recreate my looks NOW.
